Reasonably priced and delicious

I've ordered from Rebecca on several occasions and she does special sugar-free cakes with spelt flour...(as well as regular cakes) they look beautiful and I don't feel guilty letting my kids eat them up!

Just ask Rosemary!

We know a lovely cake maker called Rosemary Beales who makes a wide range of celebration cakes for occasions such as anniversaries, christenings and birthdays.

She did the most beautiful first birthday cake for our son and her Christmas cake is legendary - I would highly recommend her.

Her speciality is wedding cakes with sugar or fresh flowers. Unfortunately she doesn't have a website, but you can send her an email rosemary_beales@yahoo.co.uk to let her know what you need.

Giselle Cakes Marbella

Giselle Cakes made my 13 year old daughter some amazing Hollywood inspired cupcakes! They were so tasty and my daughter absolutely loved them.

I am impressed how quickly Giselle worked and how well the cupcakes turned out given the short notice (the same day!). I appreciate how accomodating she was.

I can recommend Giselle Cakes wholeheartedly to anyone wanting a creative cake or cupcakes that also tastes exceptional!

Decorated Cakes

The other day I went to a birthday party and my friend had the most beautiful cake made for her little girl Claudia. It was Rapunzel's Tower and the kids' faces when the cake arrived - Wow!!! Hehe! A real piece of edible art! And so tasty - a scrumptious chocolate cake filled with Dulce de Leche - even us grownups were waiting anxiously for a piece of cake.

The cake designer is in Benalmádena but I think she delivers pretty much along the coast. She has a facebook page, its Giselle Cakes. Can't wait to have some sort of celebration to order one of those :).

Caked Marbella

We have had great cakes and cupcakes from a company called cakedmarbella.com. They make fabulous designer cupcakes which not only look delicious but taste amazing as well.

They designed a special cake to my taste (ideally my favourite desert is peach melba) which was incredible. This was originally a company who had a food company in London and worked with many celebrities. They are very exclusive but not so expensive.

I happen to make cakes that contain half saturated fat, half sugar and gluten free if required. 'Peri's cakes' are often on sale at The Multisports Club, Aloha Gardens, Nueva Andalucia. Call Elaine 678 286 490 for more details.

It seems as though cake and cupcake companies are popping up like mushrooms in Marbella, so your choices are good. First, you can check out our page on Parties to see our personal reviews and favorites: Something Cakey, Just Cupcakes, Bellaria, Cake Couture and Panaderia Troyano.

However, there are others, which is great. We recently had cupcakes surprise delivered to us, which we loved, called Cake Marbella. You can contact them at 678 167 454.

We were recently contacted by another company called Delicious Cakes & Treats. You can call them at 666 584 132. They are not only known for their birthday and wedding cakes, but make carrot cakes, fruit cakes, edible cake toppers, cupcakes, company logo cakes, cookies and organize children´s cupcake parties as well.

Costa Cake Design also makes themed birthday cakes from Barbie to football shirts. Contact them at 952 426 287.

If you want something a bit different you should try the ice cream cakes from Ben & Jerry´s in La Cañada. They always have some prepared in the freezer, but you can also order them in advance to match a theme. We´ve tried these cakes before and they´re delicious. You can´t go wrong with Ben & Jerry´s ice cream!
