Transfer of dog ownership in Marbella

I have a dog in Spain that has been registered and microchipped by a local vet in San Pedro in my name.

I am transferring ownership of my dog to friends in Spain and want to know how to transfer ownership without having to have the dog's microchip changed.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I am currently in the UK because of Covid 19 and the dog is with these friends.

You can change the ownership through some paperwork from the R.A.I.A were the chip is registered
that your vet in spain should have. Or contact the RAIA DIRECTLY.
While you are away it is importand that you check that the telephone number that is on the dogs papers is changed to your friends number. Just in case.
