Training for LAMDA - London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art
Training for LAMDA - London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art - are organized by the Estepona Youth Theatre at The Studio at the Estepona Equestrian Centre every Saturday from 4.15pm to 5:30pm.
LAMDA is a renowned qualification in which young people benefit from improvement in spoken English, increased confidence and poise. Students 7 to 18 years old are invited on the course. They will be required to learn and act out either one or two small parts from either a published play or book. The parts are provided for the students, but they will be able to choose from a selection. Students can choose also whether to perform a duologue or solo.
This class is taught by Julie Curran - a qualified drama teacher from the UK who has been preparing students for the LAMDA exams for the last 9 years.
Estepona Youth Theatre has been awarded centre registration from LAMDA.
For students taking Grade 6, 7 and 8 exams, between 20 and 65 UCAS points are awarded. (The equivalent to an A´level).
WHEN: Saturdays from 4.15pm to 5.30pm
PRICE: 90 euros plus an additional cost for the examination. The cost depends on the grade taken (from 40 euros to 100 euros) The cost covers all lessons before the examination.

Escuela de Arte Equestre (Estepona riding school) is located at Rio Padrón Alto s/n (no number). Take N340 toward Estepona. Exit 159, you'll see the sign on the highway across from Laguna Village. Continue for several kilometers and follow signs to the school, which will be on your right.
