TEFL Teacher

I am a passionate teacher who absolutely loves children and helping them grow holistically. I have a deep caring and understanding for children which allows me to get to know each child individually. I believe this is of great importance as I get to see their strengths and weaknesses and prepare them to the best of their abilities. My strong initiative and good organisational skills, combined with my ability to work well under pressure, allow me to play a crucial role in a fast-paced teaching environment. I am able to take on responsibility and successfully manage a class. I also have the enthusiasm and determination to make sure I make a success out of this roleI am enthusiastic and creative so there will always be an element of fun in my lessons. Positive encouragement and reinforcement will be used to keep students motivated and focused. I will incorporate a variety of teaching resources into my lesson, to accommodate learners visual, audio and tactile needs. My goal is to foster and maintain an open and supportive environment in which students feel safe, special and appropriately challenged

Previous experience:
I am a qualified Foundation Phase Teacher and I am currently working as a tutor in Durban, South Africa. I worked at a private school for two years as a Junior Primary Intern and was able to teach children between the ages of 4-9 (Grade 00-Grade 3).
