Teenagers in San Pedro/Estepona

by JO

Hello. I would love some up to date advice on what day and evening activities are good with teenagers this year. I have read some of the older posts which are useful. As far as camps are concerned, there is little for 14-16 year olds which is a pity as mine definitely need to be tired out....Any suggestions welcome!

Cable Ski in San Pedro
by: Suzy

Cableski Marbella! Great place for teenagers to learn to kneeboard, ski, and wakeboard. There is a pool, nice cafe/bar that serves good and reasonable food. Opens 11am - 8/9pm. My teenager went EVERY day of the summer holidays from the age of 10-15!! :)Cableski Marbella! Great place for teenagers to learn to kneeboard, ski, and wakeboard. Teenagers on the Costa del Sol Part 2/2
by: Marbella Family

How about taking out the kids to discover a bit of nature and do a bit of sport? Take a look at our Sports page to organize some "one off" activities. They may like to try Cable Ski, canyoning, scuba diving, trekking (this one is free!), go-karting or horseback riding, just to name a few.

You may also be interested in taking your kids out to one of the many summer concerts that are playing in Marbella. Take a look at our Calendar to see what's happening during your stay.

Teenagers on the Costa del Sol Part 1/2
by: Marbella Family

Yes, I agree. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of organized activities going on for teenagers on the Costa del Sol. We have a budding 14 year old and it seems as though all the teenagers want to do is hang out at Puerto Banus. I don't recommend letting teenagers loose at "The Port", but if you set a few rules out, they will feel a bit of freedom and independence, while catching a movie, going out for burgers at Route 66 or McDonalds and perhaps meet a few other teenagers. My personal rule is I do not let my 14 year old hang out at the Port during the evening hours and this usually doesn't go past 8:00pm.

I prefer more organized activities during the summer, and there are some out there. Depending on the interests of your children you may want to investigate the following camps:

Bel Air Tennis camp (up to 14 yrs)
Football camp (up to 16 yrs)
Fuerte Nagueles (up to 14 yrs)
Marbella sport camp (up to 17 yrs)
Golf camp (up to 14 yrs)
Basketball camp (up to 16 yrs)
Spanish language/sport camp (up to 18 yrs)
Mac computer camp (from 12 yrs and up)
Estepona Youth Theatre camp (up to 16 yrs)
Laude San Pedro International Summer School (up to 15 yrs)
