Last time we were in Marbella, we had a really good experience at La Moraga in Puerto Banus. The tapas were really original. It can get full around lunch time, so if it's full there is another tapas bar just behind it that's alright too

Poco Loco Beach by: Louise
If you would travel a little down the road to costabella I would highly recommend Poco Loco Beach. Right on the beach with amazing food and views. They have fantastic food and a new tapas menu which has asian influences. I go there about 3 times a week and I love it. Outside is relaxed and inside is a restaurant and its better priced than the Beach House. Highly recommend giving it a try, it's been so busy during the low season so that must say something!

Restaurants in Elviria by: Amanda
Beach House has the best views you're going to get. It's a beautiful restaurant right on the beach with a great menu.
In the shopping precinct of Elviria there's a FANTASTIC tapas bar, very Spanish, great prices and food. No views though! And i'm afraid I don't know the name..... they close on Monday and you can see it from the road.

Eating tapas in Marbella by: Marbella Family
In Spain, there are various ways to eat out: you can go to a traditional restaurant or you can go for tapas, usually consisting in bar hopping and eating tapas (small portions of appetizers - hot or cold) at each place. Tapas usually sell for 1.50 to 4 euros.
Any bar will have a few different tapas for sale on its counter. Many restaurants will also offer tapas. In most places, you can combine tapas, media ración or ración (half or full plate), or you can order a dish.
You will pretty much find the following tapas everywhere: ensaladilla rusa (vegetable and tuna salad in mayo), albóndigas (meatballs), tortilla (Spanish omlet), manchego cheese, serrano ham and chorizo... Some places offer a greater variety of tapas including seafood, beef...
Following is a list of a few places in Marbella:
- on the paseo maritimo, in the parallel street right (facing the sea) of avenida del Mar, you will find a few places specializing in tapas with big beer barrels outside. Going up the street, there is a great place called La taberna del pintxo.
- in Old Town Marbella, we recommend you get lost in the narrow streets and enter any bar for a tapa and drink in a real traditional atmosphere. If you prefer an address, you can try La Pesquera on Plaza de la Victoria. It is a large outdoor restaurant but offers seafood tapas inside.
- in Puerto Banus, there is another high-end tapas place called La Moraga in front of the Corte Ingles. La Moraga is expensive, but the tapas are very unique and created by master chef Dani García. You can also find traditional tapas at a reasonable price at Gambrinus on Marina Banus square.
If you find other great addresses, just let us know.
