 "The MoroccoTrip was Awesome and very Professional"

Hello David, We wanted to thank you so much for planning an absolutely amazing once in a life-time trip for us. All the connections went off with out a hitch and the tour guides were first rate. Of course we just loved Morocco and our tour guide Jamal was knowledgeable and by the end of the week very sweet. We hated to say goodbye to him and to Casablanca. There was nothing about Morocco that disappointed us.

The transfers went smoothly but did not feel as relaxed or at ease as in Marrakesh and Casablanca. Wonder why? The scenery, as you had said, was spectacular and our accommodations were far better than we had expected. Trip to Marrakesh on Wed. went well and was definitely entering culture shock. Definitely glad we decided to upgrade to the Palace Hotel, very comfortable and the food was good. The tour service in Marrakesh was very professional and we felt safe while in their care.

I Would not recommend venturing forth as an American (and Jewish) unescorted. Have a great Thanksgiving and Shabbat Shalom. We will certainly remember you and your company for any future tours.

 A Personal Guide / Driver / Transfer Service in Casablanca and Beyond

Our family just returned from visiting Casablanca and Marrakesh. One of the best decisions we made was to abandon our plan to drive in Morocco and instead hire David Ben Dahan to be our driver and guide. Once we figured out what the car rental costs would be (automatic transmission cars are sky high!) and factored in insurance, gas, parking, the possibility of straying into a ZTL, etc, it made great sense to let David drive so we could completely enjoy our vacation. He was a wonderful tour guide, taking us to destinations we would never have found on our own.

We had private tours of Marrakesh highlights, a high-end leather factory, a sustainable cashmere goat farm, and visited many of the smaller, less-touristy towns.

David offers good company with thoughtful attention to how far to climb and when to have a bite to eat. We generally planned our days in advance by email, but then David tailored our daily travels depending on what we felt like doing.

David also provided transfer service for the 4 of us from Casablanca at a rate competitive to the van services. Our private tour guide and driver David was very knowledgeable, low-key and a pleasure to be with. Highly reccommended

If you want to experience authentic Casablanca, consider seeing the region with David Ben Dahan, He has a deep affection for the Casablanca highlights including its countryside and he knows it well. Considerable mutual respect is evident in the relationships he has developed with the locals and he moves easily in places not commonly frequented by tourists, which allows David to share experiences of Casablanca that provide insight into the lives and ventures of the people who live there. He is also an infallible guide to superb food and wines. Every meal was a delight both in content and setting, including some off-the-beaten-path restaurants that would be difficult to find without him.

David made it clear from the start that he was responsible for solving any problems that might arise. And he was true to his word. It was delightful to be able to leave both the driving and the worrying to him and be free to enjoy the sensual and cultural pleasures of Casablanca that he opened to us.

 “ Top notch Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour”

A group of 14 people decided last month to take a Casablanca Jewish Heritage private tour during our port stop in Casablanca for the day. Our group of Canadian, British and American were debating whether we should take the budget tour offered by the cruise ship or try a private guided tour. I discovered BenDahane Jewish Heritage online and was impressed with it.

We took a leap of faith with David and could not have been happier. Delivered was a top notch Jewish Heritage tour mixed with the culture, history and sites of Casablanca along with a proficient, excellent English fluent speaking guide and driver. Our guide was not only clearly from Casablanca but also knowledgeable about the city's wealth of Jewish history.

Our visit not only included sites such as Temple Beth-El and the Museum of Moroccan Judaism but also lunch at Rick's Cafe! Our guide, gave us a really good introduction to the complex history, politics and treasures of Morocco. Without that, the tour would still have been fun, but far less meaningful.

We appreciated being able to experience Casablanca's Jewish culture while also seeing other sites such as the Hassan II Mosque and Habous Berber souk/market and Medina.

I highly recommend this tour company, We are already planning our visit for 2014 to take discover Morocco in depth.
