Swans Summer School

Swans International School is offering a Summer School with an exciting and varied programme for *4 - 10 year olds. The fun starts Monday July 2 to Friday July 27, 2012 from 10:00am to 2:30pm.

Kids will enjoy our fantastic facilities at Swans Sierra Blanca where they can play sports, swim, cycle, learn art, construction and craft activities, cookery and board games interspersed with trips. (All trips subject to confirmation).

Swans Summer School is run by English speaking teachers with
a Spanish assistant. Directed activities e.g Art, Cookery and
Drama will be delivered in English and Spanish. Extra classes
can be arranged by request.

*4 year olds must have completed a year in Swans Early Years.

Week 1

Monday, 2nd - Let’s Make New Friends, Circle Games, Sports, Art Workshop, Swimming.

Tuesday, 3rd - Cookery Workshop, Clay Modelling, Science Fun, Ball Games, Swimming.

Wednesday, 4th - Bouncy Castle, Penalty Shoot Out Activity, Musical Instruments, Water Play.

Thursday, 5th - ICT Fun, Rough & Tumble, Music and Movement, Swimming,
Stories and Nursery Rhyme Time.

Friday, 6th -Trip to Fuengirola Zoo.


Week 2

Monday 9th - Potted Sports, Board Games, Clay Decorating, Swimming, Story and Nursery Rhyme Time.

Tuesday 10th - Science Fun, Parachute Games, Sports, Swimming.

Wednesday 11th - Parque Nagüeles, Drama, Musical Instruments, Water Play.

Thursday 12th - Cookery Workshop, Music and Movement, ICT Fun, Face Painting, Swimming.

Friday 13th - Trip to Granja Escuela (Farm School), Marbella.


Week 3

Monday 16th - Sports, Obstacle Course, Cycling, Plasticine Modelling, Art Workshop, Swimming.

Tuesday 17th - Cookery workshop, Music and Movement, Football, Science Fun, Water Play.

Wednesday 18th - Bouncy castle, Sports, Storytelling - Traditional Stories, Swimming.

Thursday 19th - ICT fun, Art workshop/competition, Music and Movement.

Friday 20th - Trip to Crocodile Park.


Week 4

Monday 23rd - Science Fun, Scavenger Hunt, Story and Rhyme Time, Swimming.

Tuesday 24th– Cookery workshop, Table Tennis, Sports, Swimming.

Wednesday 25th – Role Play and Dressing up, Cycling, Music and Movement, Water Play and Swimming.

Thursday 26th– Parque Nagüeles, Swimming, Summer School Show.

Friday 27th– Party, Clown and Cinema Show.


Enrolment Conditions:
Places are limited and yours can be secured by coming into the
school’s office and filling out the inscription form together with full
payment at your earliest convenience. Whilst priority is given to children who will be attending the full course, there is a possibility of enrolling your child for the first 2 weeks or the last 2 weeks.


Prices:
Full course 600 euro
2 weeks 350 euro
Light lunch included


Children should bring swimming kit with swimming hat DAILY (except on trips), sun cream and cap.

Children need to bring their own bike and helmet on cycling days.

Please ensure that children wear trainers every day, as flip flops
and sandals are NOT suitable for walking and most other activities.
