Does anyone know of any support groups in the area for children with Aspergers? It would also be good to meet other parents in a similar situation. Please feel free to contact me.

Help for mum and little Girl of 3.

Hi, I have a three Year Old little girl who has been diagnosed with autism. I live in Alhaurin de la torre, mostly Spanish people, getting mixed advice of whether to speak one language or two to her, don't know anyone else in my position and looking for some kind of support/ help group who can give me a bit if guidance. Eager to meet more mums like me or people who have been through a similar situation. Thanks!

Help needed for my son

Hi. I have an 11 year old son with high functioning aspergers, we are based in Coin, Malaga.
He's had some bully problems at school because of his aspergers as well as his germ phobia and ocd. I'm looking someone who can help him with techniques to deal with day to day life situations and his compulsions?

I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, my name is Catalina I am 39 years old, my working life has always moved between two worlds, the administration in international trade and children's education, which is my great passion, I have worked in several children's schools here in Spain and schools, as well as in Ireland and England where I have continued to train in different methodologies, it was in England where I had to study again NVQ children's education to be able to practice this profession, and it was in my first nursery where I was trained in Montessori, child yoga, and they taught me the benefits of art and dance in the youngest ones, it was a little later when I decided to take a leap more and start working with special needs children like down syndrome and autism, I trained in MAKATON, TEAM TEACH and ABA / VB techniques taught by Dr. Carbona, eminence in this and with the support and knowledge of my supervisors and colleagues at RAINBOW SCHOOL, co I wanted to consolidate my knowledge in the subject, they taught me to love my work, not to give up, the passage through this center has been very important for me, since they were the ones who taught me, those who instilled in me my desire to improve myself and train the smallest, whatever their conditions.
About my personal life the only thing I can say is that I am a patient, energetic and versatile person, that I have always liked to travel, I have passion for the countryside, animals, and dance, and that I always try to surpass myself.

I realise you posted this almost one year ago, but I just came across it.
I am currently living in Marbella and specialise in Autistoc Spectrum Disorders. In the UK I deputy managed a home for young adults with autism and also deputy co ordinated a youth group for teens with Aspergers.
