Summer Musical Evening at Sotogrande International School
Summer Musical Evening
Sotogrande International School, The Kindred Project and the Kijani Kenya Trust, have the pleasure to announce, for the first time ever, a “Summer Musical Evening” to be held at Sotogrande International School on July 12th, 9.00 pm, featuring celebrity performances from Africa and Europe.
We have taken a unique opportunity to unite international and local music masters to bring our intercultural values to life and offer priceless opportunities for our students to develop mastery around their passions. And all for a good cause, as ticket sales will go towards supporting health, education and conservation projects led by the Kijani Kenya Trust.
The line up is simply spectacular, starring The Nairobi Chamber Chorus (NCC), Pippa Dames-Longworth – international Opera singer –, The Bridge Quartet from London performing with members of Malaga’s Symphonic Orchestra, Salvador Andrade’s flamenco group and our school’s finest soloists and musicians.
The headline act will be the Nairobi Chamber Chorus, the leading choral group in Kenya today. Its vision is a strong, well-trained musical community, which can use music to promote peace and cross-cultural understanding through quality performance of choral music. NCC, as seen representing Kenya at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in Windsor Castle, have travelled extensively in East Africa, the United States of America, and have performed with world-renowned musical companies.
A truly recommended concert for all ages with performers that are bound to send the audience asking for more!
Tickets are on sale at the school reception until Friday 10th July, and at the door on the evening of the concert.
Prices range from €5 to €20. For more information contact us on info@thekindredproject.gl or call +34 956 795 902.
