Spring Balance Yoga Workshop - 24th March 2012 10am - 4pm at Family Siesta, Mijas


The start of spring brings an equal balance back to light and dark in our days and so this is the perfect time to realign the body and bring it back to centre.

This one day workshop will start with a 90 minute asana class designed to bring balance and alignment through a sequence of fun and challenging postures. We will work on creating a strong and stable core for centered movement, a balance of strength through the upper and lower body and build on increased and improved flexibility.

We will follow this with a 30 minute pranayama session working on balancing the breath and finish this part of the day with a short relaxation.

After a delicious raw food lunch we will continue with a short and gentle 30 minute yoga session designed to aid digestion before moving on to an ultra relaxing yoga nidra session.

Yoga nidra is a state of ‘conscious deep sleep’. It brings an incredible calmness, quietness and clarity which in turn can help to bring balance and control to your thoughts and mind.

The day ends with a green juice to allow you all time to come to from your deep relaxation and to invigorate you before you go on your way.

The cost of this workshop is 45 euros and a 10 euro deposit is required in order to hold your place. This deposit is non refundable but can be transferred to my other workshops/courses or online programmes.
