Costa Christmas Collection Appeal
Specsavers Opticas always collaborate with charities over the Christmas period and this year the Marbella and Fuengirola stores are getting behind the Costa Christmas Collection appeal, which collects gifts for children in the Malaga orphanages and the Amusuvig shelters for victims of domestic violence.
Christmas is a particularly difficult time for these vulnerable children, so this campaign collects new or nearly new, wrapped toys, to really brighten up their Christmas and put a smile on their faces. They have more than 300 children to collect for this year and so hope that everyone will be generous. Gifts can be dropped off at Specsavers Marbella or Fuengirola and must be wrapped and labelled with whether the item is suitable for a boy or girl and of what age group.
“If everyone could buy just one extra present when they are out doing their Christmas shopping and donate it to a child in need, it would make a huge difference” said Nerea Galdos from Specsavers Opticas Marbella, “we hope people will get involved and make this a wonderful Christmas for these children.”
To contribute to the appeal, please bring new or nearly new, wrapped gifts into the Marbella store Avda. de Ricardo Soriano 12, Local 5A, or near the bus station in Fuengirola, Avenida Ramόn Y Cajal 6 before the 15th of December.
