Ristorante Fantasia is a refreshingly understated family Italian eatery in the San Pedro de Alcantara neighbourhood of Marbella that has been delivering classic, homemade Italian food to families since 2004. You go to Fantasia because you are looking for delicious Italian favourites prepared with fresh ingredients by a proper Neapolitan chef.

In addition to loving the food, parents love Fantasia because it is adjacent to a large, fenced-in playground that delivers an experience similar to sitting on your own private terrace enjoying a great meal while watching the kids enjoy themselves on the playground.

ABOUT THE RESTAURANT

Eva (from Genoa) and her husband (from Napoli) moved to Marbella from London in 2000 and and started the business with the intent to provide Marbella guests with truly authentic, fresh and wholesome Italian dishes at reasonable prices. The interior of the restaurant is cosy and there is also an outdoor section where parents can enjoy a great meal while keeping a watchful eye on the fenced-in playground adjacent to the restaurant. The service at Fantasia is enthusiastic, helpful and friendly and they also offer an excellent selection of Italian and Spanish wines.


ITALIAN CLASSICS, SEAFOOD & MEATS

Known best for their classic Italian dishes – most of the recipes, by the way, have been passed down through generations of family members and are still made the same today.

Fantasia's busiest season is summertime but you will always find regular family residents enjoying a meal there throughout the year. Local hotels often send guests over to experience a little bit of proper Italian food which parents enjoy and kids always enjoy.

You’ve probably driven by Fantasia as you traveled on the highway between Puerto Banus and San Pedro. The restaurant is located just off the roundabout toward Ronda and is on the beach side of the highway, immediately adjacent to a large, fenced-in playground beside the SuperSol market.

COMMENTS

“Fantastic Food”

Why has it taken 11years to go!!!!!! On recommendation we tried this family run restaurant recently. We ended up going three times in 8 days. The food and service is second to none. I can well recommend the liver, salmon pasta dish and the pizzas. I never eat a dessert but the tiramisu cheesecake was to die for!!! Whilst tucked away it really is worth a visit.

“Lovely food”

We went based on reviews from TA, ordered pizza, calzone, steak and chicken all were really very good. The pizza particularly was fantastic. It's a bit out on its own and next to a road which was ok and there is a park the kids can use just opposite. All in all a lovely place to eat, we were lucky as we got s table without reserving but you may want to reserve as they're busy.

“Dinner in San Pedro”

Family owned small restaurant where the father cooks, the mum and daughter work the tables. The service is outstanding and the pizza is excellent. Some of the best pizzas had outside of Italy (also better than many pizzerie in Italy). Desserts are top notch too
