On the 5th August 1986, Queen and Freddie Mercury played their last-ever European concert to 25,000 people in Marbella's football stadium. Exactly 25 years later, on Friday 5th August 2011, Marbella will once again rock to the sound of Queen's greatest hits.

Headlining this unmissable night of entertainment are GARY MULLEN & THE WORKS performing their acclaimed international show “ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN”. Acclaimed international soprano Ruth Kerr will be joining Gary Mullen & The Works on stage to sing the unforgettable classic "BARCELONA" sung originally by FREDDIE MERCURY and MONTSERRAT CABALLÉ, in a rendition put together especially for this concert.


PLUS - RUTH LORENZO RETURNS!

RUTH LORENZO stole the show when she performed in Marbella last year, enthralling the crowd with her breathtaking voice, unbridled Spanish passion and stunning stage presence - a true star in every sense and we are thrilled to have her back. This year the 2008 “X Factor” finalist has put together a special set of rock classics to fit with the theme of the night and open the show with a bang!


DJ RUSSELL - HE WILL ROCK YOU!

Anyone who has been to the legendary Terra Blues club in Puerto Banús will have witnessed DJ Russell rockin' the house with his incredible party-starting energy and eclectic mix of rock and pop anthems. Russell joins the show to provide the party soundtrack, before, between and after the acts with his unique selection of 70s and 80s rock classics. Ever the showman, Russell is worth the ticket price alone!

This concert will take place under the stars at the stunning new beachside Recinto de Conciertos arena at Playa del Pinillo in Marbella. The entrance is near the Marbella Arch. Our partners the Marbella Town Hall have made this fantastic space available for a select few concerts this summer, and we are privileged to be one of the chosen few.
