Print workshop for kids in Marbella
Museum of Contemporary Spanish Printmaking
The Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo (Museum of Contemporary Spanish Printmaking) is holding a print workshop for kids in Marbella during the month of July 2011. This session titled "Additive techniques, collage and templates" is taught by Stella Kamazón.
In this workshop children will discover new uses for everyday materials like cardboard, wool and textured papers that will be used to make plates that will be inked and stamped to make works of art.

Stella Kamazón was born in Mucientes (Valladolid). Technical drawing position for the school of Applied Arts in Valladolid. She lives in Marbella since 1984, and participates in various courses through the Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo. Her creative activity leads to expression in various techniques such as painting, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture. Her work has gone through several stages, creating a series of thematic works, some of which involve social topics such as gender violence, climate change. Since her first exhibition in 1980, she has made many works of art, both individually and collectively.
