Pet Day in Benahavis

If you like animals you don´t want to miss Dia del Mascota or Pet Day in Benahavis on Saturday November 13th. The event will be at the Benahavis Chapel (La Hermita, where the Romeria is held) from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.

This event is organized by the Benahavis Rotary Club to benefit the cancer hospice Cudeca as well as local animal charities. They are also seeking to raise awareness of abandoned animals.

Come spend the day with the whole family at the park where there will be lots of stands offering homemade baked goods, snacks, sandwiches, jams, pies, toys, books, pet items and Christmas things, so it´s a good time to get some of your holiday shopping done early. There will also be a raffle and animal parade, so the kids are sure to love it.

If you own a dog, you are welcome to bring your pet to participate in the agility competition organized by Vivien from Four Paws. Several categories are offered such as the biggest dog, the smallest dog, the prettiest dog, the ugliest dog, and the best pedigree.
