Selecting Malaga Airport parking - but which one of many ?

Selecting where to to park your car is totally a personal choice, but making the right selection is always going to be difficult. At the last count there are approximately 65 Airport parking businesses at Malaga Airport, all with web sites advertising similar services at varying costs. So which one do you choose? Lets break down the requirements first and work out exactly what is required.

Priorities

1. Indoor or Outdoor
2. Valet service or no no valet service (delivery & collection directly from the Terminal building). Meaning no minibus transfers.
3. Is cost the big issue and if so can you get what you need for your budget?
4. Is it total quality of service you are looking for?

When you have established these answers, then you are ready to make your choice. Start by taking a look at the pages and work out what you are willing to pay. Are you going for the cheapest deal or would you like to pay a little more for the right balance? Decide how you wish the park to be handled: Valet or no Valet?

Selection

Then make 2 selections from the companies that appear to fit your criteria and make your enquiries to them. The answers will tell the whole story. You will strike up a relationship or you will feel uncomfortable. Either way, this first point of contact will undoubtedly give you your answer, if you are not happy do not do it. Gut feeling in this is a good rule of thumb.

If you get clarity and confidence, assurance with security, go with it. If you are left scratching your head with confusion then leave it alone. Simple... ey!

Many unhappy clients that make noises all day about how poorly they have been treated, have in all honesty probably made the wrong choice. They cannot have done the homework beforehand and normally because they have gone for the cheapest possible option. When you are leaving your pride and joy with someone, you have to be able to trust them.

Bottom line

The system of cost at the Airport is pretty simple. If it is very cheap then where it is parked is not going to be ideal, possibly on an industrial area or such like. If the cost are middle range, it would suggest the parking is a better quality and the company has confidence in their pricing. If you go to the other extreme and it is very expensive, then tell them and see if they will negotiate.

The bottom line is there are so many companies to choose from, you make your priorities and stick to them. Marbenjo Parking norte I recommend.

Costa del Sol Parking

You may want to check out Costa del Sol Parking. Very reasonable rates, close to the airport and a free wash included.

They also accommodate larger vehicles, motorhomes, motorcyles and have special rates for long-term parking.

Aena Parking!!!!!!!

Don't use Aena, they have a booth at the airport and you park your car in the short term car park.

my child dropped her wallet in the car and realised when it was too late as we were on the plane. thinking it would be ok in the car, as were only going for one night.

the wallet was empty upon return and they took no responsibility.

it was very expensive parking and i don't recommend it.

I do however recommend ECP. I have been using these for years and are very professional service.

anything that was left behind in the car was always there on return.

they drop you to the airport and pick you up when you plane lands.

If you are happy to have your car parked outside, the cheapest is Sol Mediterraneo: only 3.50 euro per day! And they are friendly too!!

My recommendation: Parking San Isidro

I would like to recommend Parking San Isidro. I used it this summer to go on a cruise. I'm from Marbella and it cost me 65 euro for the whole week (travel to the port from Malaga airport included).

We were four in the car and had a smooth ride. The perfect car and the right care.

I would like to recommend the parking we normally use when travel to Uk, Parking Zenith, it is covered parking, maximun security, they offer 24 hours service, 365 days a year. Their staff is extremely nice, if you call ask for lady in charge of booking department, think her name is Irene, she is more than helpful. Long term parking Malaga Airport

The airport in Malaga has a public parking conveniently located, however its daily rate (between 13 an 17 euros depending on the duration of the the stay) makes it non-economical for long term parking.

There are many parking services around the airport. All of them have a shuttle that takes you to and back from the airport. They seem to be all very similar.

The one we have been using for a few years now is Parking Sur. We have always been happy with it. It costs 5.50 euros per day and has special prices for very long stays. The staff is pleasant, they rinse the car before returning it to you and the shuttle to and from the airport is very efficient 24 hours a day. Their contact numbers are 952 23 28 91 or 691 323 095.
