Musical Theatre Master Class for the Creative Arts Department

On Wednesday 3 February the Aloha College Creative Arts Department welcomed Lucy Lummis, a musical theatre performer and lecturer from the Institute of the Arts, Barcelona. Lucy led an intensive musical theatre workshop that included a balletic warm up into a choreographed piece to Fosse’s ‘Chicago’. The students who participated were all pushed physically, they really enjoyed the process and were thrilled with the finished outcome. Lucy is a professional musical performer who is currently Dance Captain of ‘Sister Act’. She has worked professionally on many big stages around the world, so as a college we were very lucky to have had this opportunity.
