Multisports Club Introduces New Tennis Academy

The MultisportsClub has recently developed a new project with Farid Bentaous, Director of Marbella Top Tennis at the Tennis Academy to promote tennis coaching for children . Farid is fully licensed under the French Tennis Federation and has coached many top players during his career. His technique is such that he is able to use coaching time effectively, hence children spend more coaching time playing tennis than waiting in a queue.

Apart from developing a new skill in sports, we believe that tennis also supports a child’s development. Through tennis, the child learns how to react under pressure, respect for others and perseverance….attributes that are so necessary in our daily life.

Our aim therefore is to establish a new tennis academy in conjunction with Farid. Lessons will be held at the The MultisportsClub, Avda. Del Prado, Nueva Andalucia and are open to children of all ages and ability. We also aim to combine fun with learning this sport. The course will be equivalent to the length of one full academic year running from September to June. It will comprise of 30 weeks consisting of 2 one hour lessons per week. In addition, we shall set aside two Saturdays for tournaments with trophies and prizes.

In the meantime we are also offering a five week pre-summer course commencing this month, May 2014. Lessons will be held twice a week at 15.30-16.30 and 16.30-17.30 depending on numbers and ages.
