Moving away - Family cat needs good home

Due to my son starting university in the UK we need to find a good home for our wonderful cat. We are certain the trauma of moving back would be too stressful. View this Top Cat on his Facebook Tigi Mogs. He´s a real people person with all ages

Rehoming
by: Anonymous

This decision is not taken lightly. Tigi has his passport although when we return to the UK my son will not be at home and my work means I travel around Europe on a weekly basis. I have brought my kids up alone for the last two years and my son has worked at PADS so we are fully aware of situation here for animals. Tigi was himself wild as a kitten before we took him in many years ago. I am trying to find a solution before making the journey back in September

pathetic excuse
by: Anonymous

I think this reason to re home this cat is just pathetic and unreasonable.

I agree with the other comment it would be more stressful for the cat to be with a new family than to travel.

Be honest and loyal to you cat take it with you it's been loyal to you for 11 years.

You knew this day would come so why get a pet in the first place.

Makes me feel very sad when I come accross articles like this.

There are volunteers here in the coast working tirelessly to find homes for abandoned animals please don't add another one to their list.

REALLY ?
by: Anonymous

I personally don believe it would be stressful for the cat to travel as long it sticks with his family , smells and people he knows ...the cat would die otherwise here in Spain , there are too many stray cats, stray dogs,.. .. you wouldnt leave a child behind , would you ? I am sorry but i have petS too and i would even thinking to give them away if i had to move back to uk

He's 11 and neighbours dogs don't bother him. He's not an agressive cat

by: Evelyne Ramelet

He will be more stressed changing family as changing home and country... It's a pity to let him here. I'll die for sadness. How old is this cat ? could he life with dog and other cats???
