Movement and music classes for children in Marbella

The Marbella Art and Culture department is offering classes on music and movement for children aged 3 to 6 as well as 'Musica prenatal', aimed at pregnant women. These one hour classes will take place in Marbella at the Art and Culture headquarters in Marbella, Avenida de José Luis Morales Marín, 17 (Miraflores).

This pioneering initiative called La música en movimiento (Music in movement) invites children and their caretakers to participate in a musical educational experience in a family friendly atmosphere. The objective of this class is to sensitize children to music and explore their body movements as well as internalize music as a natural language and form of expression. Children will engage in various activities such as listening, singing, musical storytelling, recognizing songwriters and works of music and other learning games. They will discover, explore, manipulate and create sound.

Musica Prenatal is an experience that uses music as a tool to strengthen the bond between mother and child and improve the experience women have during pregnancy. It is also said to have wonderful benefits for babies - children who enjoy this type of stimulation are born more relaxed, sleep and eat better, and enhance their learning skills and concentration.
