Golf for kids in the Benahavis Senior Masters with SNAG Golf

The official presentation and press conference of the 2nd Benahavís Senior Masters will take place at La Quinta Golf & Country Club on Wednesday the 13th of October at 18.00.

Attending will be the Mayor of Benahavís, José Antonio Mena, Manuel Pinero, European Seniors Tour pro, Andy Stubbs Managing Director of the European Senior Tour, Carlos Roca President of the Spanish PGA and Joaquin Moya, President of de La Quinta Golf & Country Club.

The European Seniors Tour returns to Spain for the second consecutive year and will be played at La Quinta Golf & Country Club. The Benahavís Senior Masters, sponsored by the Town Hall of Benahavís, will be celebrated from the 15th to the 17th of October. 2 Pro-Am days will be celebrated before the tournament on the 13th and 14th of October, where amateurs will be able to play with some of the best Senior players in the world like Manuel Pinero, Carl Mason, Costantino Rocca and Tony Johnston.

On the 16th of October at 16.00 a mini golf tournament for kids will also be celebrated. This initiative allows local children and their families to learn more about the game in a relaxed environment thanks to the golf initiation system, SNAG® (Start New At Golf). SNAG® contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form. The game has its own simplified rules and terminology that adds fun to the learning and playing experience. Falling somewhere between miniature golf and regulation golf, SNAG® allows for full shots, pitching, chipping, and putting. The SNAG Ball™ has a limited distance, with the average player launching it a maximum of 50 yards.
