German Day 2010 in Marbella will be celebrated by the Marbella Town Hall on Sunday October 3. Various activities will be organized by the Marbella delegation of tourism in order to celebrate Germany´s reunification in 1990.

As there are many German residents in Marbella, the town hall would like to celebrate this day with them as well as tourists visiting the area. Celebrations will kick of at the Parque de la Alameda (near Old Town Marbella) at 5:00pm and will last throughout the evening until 11:00pm.

The celebration of German Day in Marbella will take place in the Parque de la Alameda between 17:00 to 23:00 hrs. The event will be kicked off with an institutional ceremony. Many German products are being imported for the special day so that visitors may have a "taste of Germany". This will include beer (white and black!), sausages, bratwurst, fleishkuchen, and baked goods to name a few.

The Munich based band Star Sound Express will be performing German folk music for entertainment.
