Fuengirola Feria 2010

The Fuengirola Feria 2010 in honor of the Virgen el Rosario takes place from October 6th to 12th. The biggest attraction of this fair is the horse with plenty of exhibitions on horses, singing and flamenco dancing, bullfighting and activities in the fairground tents.

Schedule of Events

Wednesday October 6

7:00pm - Mass at the Virgen del Rosario Coronada

9:30pm - Fair opening speech by Virginia Rico Jaime and Juan José Martín Martín (Palacio de la Paz, fairgrounds).

10:30pm - Lighting inauguration of the feria

11:00pm - Municipal choir and dance group from Fuengirola performance at Palacio de la Paz. Free entrance.


Thursday October 7
Festivities in honor of our Lady the Virgen del Rosario Coronada, Honorary mayor.

10:30am - Flamenco mass outdoors at the main square Plaza de la Constitución. Procession of the Virgin, Nuestra Señoradel Rosario Coronada, begins after the events, accompanied by the Horn and Drum Band and the Fuengirola Municipal Band.

Parade Itinerary: Plaza de la Constitución, Avda. Condes San Isidro, Camino de Coín, Avda. Juan Gómez ?Juanito?, C/ Hnos. Pinzón, Avda. Condes de San Isidro, Plaza de la Constitución y a su
templo.

10:30pm - Performance by Laura Gallego, Joaquín Sáenz and María Lozano at Palacio de la Paz. Tickets: 27 ?, 22 ?, 17 ? or 12 ?.

5:30pm - Bullfight: Six brave bulls from the Los Azores farm fight Manuel Díaz ?El Cordobés? Francisco Rivera Ordoñez ?Paquirri? David Fandila ?El Fandi?.

Ticket sales: 4, 5, 6 and 7 of October in the bullring box office. 10% discount for tickets sold after October 8.

The day of the bullfight the box office will remain open from 11:00am until the fight begins. Credit cards accepted only until one hour before the fight.
