The Estepona riding school - La Escuela de Arte Ecuestre de Costa del Sol - is holding a social dressage competition on Sunday November 20, 2011 at 10:30am. This is a valid qualification for the E.A.E.C.S. Final Championship (December 2011)

First, second and third prizes will be given to each category:

Children are offere intensive riding lessons including theory, practical, games and excursions.

Pony Picnic at Estepona riding school

Take the kids out to the Pony Picnic at Estepona riding school Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol on Sunday November 13, 2011 for a fun day out for the whole family.

The fun begins at 10:30 in the morning when the kids take out the ponies to the field. Our team brings the picnic baskets and treats for you to enjoy. Kids will learn how to walk their pony, groom them and our team will answer any questions they may have about our ponies and horses.

This is a fantastic way to introduce your children to horses and horseriding. And you will love our facilities too. You may even want to chill out at our restaurant El Abrevadero for a glass of wine to watch the sun go down at the end of the day.

XI National horse show jumping competition

The Estepona riding school Escuela de Arte Ecuestre is hosting the XI National Horse Show Jumping Competition from July 28 - 31, 2011 daily from 10:00 to 14:00 and then 18:00 to 24:00.

On Wednesday July 27th at 8:00pm join the school for a cocktail evening and again on Saturday July 30th at 10:30pm for 6 bar jumping and a flamenco party.

Halloween at the Estepona riding school

The Pony Club at the riding school is organizing fun and games for the children, so come in your best costume and take part in the action.

13th national show jumping competition 2010 Estepona

2 STAR NATIONAL SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION ON JULY 3OTH, 31ST and 1ST OF AUGUST

The competition starts at 9 am until 2 pm in the morning with the following classes: 1 m, 1,10 m, 1,20 CJ and group IV,

The afternoon program will be from 7 pm untill midnight with group III and group II.

On July 30th, 31st and 1st of August the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre, located in Estepona, will be hosting a 2 star National Show Jumping Competition, which will get together 200 horses and riders from all over Spain.

The competition will start on Friday the 30th of July and will continue on Saturday 31st and Sunday the 1st of August. During these three exciting days 18 rounds of classes will take place in which, male and female horse-riders from all over Spain will compete in one of the most popular disciplines as well as one of the most modern speciality of the equestrian sports, hoping to improve their latest rankings after long training and preparation.

The competition will comprise of six rounds of classes per day, four official and two additional, which will put the skill, accuracy and athleticism of both horse and rider to the test. Different category riders will take part in this prestigious competition in which there will be trophies and cash prizes for the first three winners of the official classes and trophies for the first five winners of the additional ones.

On Saturday 31st of July, upon finishing of all classes of the competition, the main attraction and one of the most exciting and anticipated competitions, will take place: THE SPECTACULAR SIX BARS COMPETITION. A knock out jumping contest, in which both, horse and rider, must overcome these bars in successive rounds reaching heights of up to 2 meters. This competition will last until the early hours of the morning with cash prizes of up to 6,000 Euros.

Show jumping competition

The Escuela de Arte Ecuestre in Estepona will be holding the First Annual league Regional Show Jumping Competition on Friday August 21 starting at 5:00pm.

The event is organized in conjunction with the Spanish horse federation (Federacion Hipica Española - www.rfhe.com).

Classes NOT in the league will include:

- Poles on the floor (Prizes for all participants)
- Cross poles (Prizes for all participants)
- 60cm jump (Prizes for first five participants)

Classes in the league will include:

- 90cm : Alevin riders - (Prizes for first five participants)
- 1.10m : Infantil (Prizes for first five participants)
- 1.20m : Juvenil (Prizes for first five participants)
- 1.25m : Young riders
- 1.30m : Adult riders

At 8:00pm a summer barbeque will be offered

At 10:00pm dance the night away at the disco party.
