Doctor and massage therapist in Marbella

Hi! We have just bought a holiday apartment in Nagueles near centre of Marbella and plan to be there 6 - 7 times a year.

I speak a little Spanish, but it would be good to find a good doctor whom I can communicate with in English in case my husband and I ever get sick down there.

Also a good massage therapist who practices sports massage/rolfing/structural integration. Any good doctor and sports massage therapist recommendations between San Pedro and Marbella. Thanks in advance!

Marjatta, 622853848 certified massage therapist since 1994 in Germany and trainings in holistic medicine. I worked with health insurance back in Germany and I quit soo many people pains, eithe rin the cervical area or lumbago problems or whatsoever. So many sportspeople, who told me they had the best masssage, specialy the cervical treatments, but also the full body sportsmassage.

For the fans of holistic treatments i also have many years expierience in shiatsu and reflex therapy and chakra readings, I spent many months in India about 25 years ago and had trainings there.

With regard to the previous comments I would make sure that anyone offering manipulation especially to the neck is qualified to at least the level of a physio, osteopath or chiropractor. Normally a sports massage therapist is not trained, or insurable for HVTs.

I also recommend the Medical Centre in San Pedro (952780540) They have doctors and dentists and all sorts there and they all speak (/are) English.

If you need a more 'holistic' approach, Katy Pohlman is also very good. Also in San Pedro, she's a homeopath and kinesiologist and speaks many languages (952783455).

And, if Zora's Paco is the one I know he is FAB! (Used to work at the Wellness Pilates in Marbella) Didn't know he did home visits.... may need to look into that myself!;-)

Doctor and sports massage in Marbella

We are very happy with the care we get at The Medical Centre in San Pedro de Alcantara. It will only be about a 10 minute drive from where you are.

I also have two massage therapists who can help you. They both can make home visits and I trust them completely.

1. Paco 669461913. He is my savior when I have sore muscles. I get sport massages from him and find he is qualified and very professional. He usually gives deep massage with a bit of manipulation, i.e. cracks your back and neck to release any tension. He is a serious masseur who has trained for many years. Paco speaks Spanish, but may speak a little bit of English. I'm not sure.

2. Bjorn 952 860 090. Bjorn is Swedish (?) and he speaks English. I once had a pain in my back and that just wasn't going away for weeks until I had a session with Bjorn. After one light massage (surprising, since I felt like I just needed someone to crack my back hard to get rid of it) my pain had completely gone the next day. I couldn't believe it.
