Dinner at Bollywood Indian Restaurant Nueva Andalucia October 2014
by Morris Bishop
(San Pedro de Alcantara)
It seems that like every other person that I had been in conversation with recently has asked if I had tried Bollywood - so eventually we get around to dining there.
It is not without reason that it enjoy’s a ’full house’ most evenings, for this is one of the most professional examples of Indian cuisine that I have encountered on the costa’s
Chef Sudash and Ruhel, the Tandoori chef, who together produced a veritable feast for our party of four
Although there must have been a slight misunderstanding about our starter of Onion Bhajia as these arrived with our main course. We had Lamb Saag, Chicken Korma,
Chicken Madras, Saag Bhji (a spicy spinach dish) accompanied by a Peshwari Naam bread and Pulao rice. Such was the quantity of the mains, that we didn’t even think about a dessert.
All agreed that at 20€ a head including drinks tip and coffee, represented outstanding value, considering the quality and quantity of the meal.
The nitty gritty
