Charity Family Fun Day 2012
The
Charity Family Fun Day is being held at the Lauro Golf Academy in Alhaurin de la Torre on Sunday June 3rd, 2012 from 12pm until 5pm.
Individual charities are welcome to have a free stall to sell goods or run an activity and make money purely for their own charity.
Already AID, the Brownies, LIVE, DEBRA, 4 Paws Adoption, Ray of Light and Age Concern have signed up but there’s room for more. The day will also include a Kidz Inland children’s Sports Day, bouncy castles, a junior golf putting competition, Beachwear fashion show,
Family of Sound music show, donkey rides, tarot reading, a
Wildside Forest School workshop, Cheerleading demo, Colmenar Craft stall plus a whole range of games and activities for the kids topped with live music from Costa Rock.
The event is based around The Big Lunch promotion via the UK’s Jubilee celebrations and food available on the day will be offered by local suppliers from the Big Lunch recipe book and include traditional British fare such as Coronation Chicken, a barbecue and cupcakes whilst there will also be paella, curry and patties.
Meanwhile banner space is available for companies or businesses who would like to sponsor the event and volunteers are also needed to help on the day.
Organiser Lisa Sadleir said: “We still have room for more charities to come along and run a free stall. It’s a win-win situation as they have a guaranteed audience of a few hundred and no stall fees.”
