We are looking for a recommended child psychologist for an 8 year old in Marbella. Can anyone advise of someone reputable, English-speaking and with a strong track record here on the Costa del Sol?

Best Child Psychologist

Kari Laliberte is the best. She has offices in Marbella and Benalmadena and also works with several Child Psychiatrists if needed. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Spain and has several Master´s Degrees in other specialization including Child and Adolescent Psychology. Additionally she has also raised six kids trilingual children herself and speaks-writes English, Spanish and Norwegian fluently.

Great Child Psychologist and Psychotherapeut at the Hellerhof Clinic

There is a great psychotherapy center in Nueva Andalucia called Hellerhof Clinic. They have great track record with english and russian speaking children. You can contact them at 693502804. Dr. Alexandra Geller. She speaks English, Russian, German and Spanish. Good luck.

You may not need a psychologist, it depends what the child's problem actually is, Stuart Ashing, hypnotherapist has been working here in Spain with children & adults for more than 10 years, with a proven track record in helping kids with many tpyes of phobias, school stress, and improved learning, to name only a few.
