Bull fight Marbella-area

We are going on holiday form the 16th of june 2011 untill the 25th of june 2011 and we will be staying in Estepona. We would like to go and see a bull fight (preferably within the malaga-area).

Where can I find a bullfight-calendar ? Are there bullfights in Marbella on every Sunday ?

Question: The bullfight scheduled in Marbella for next Sunday July 13th 2014, states "suitable for all audiences". Does this include children aged 14 yrs. Many thanks.

The website I directed you to was the ticket offices of the local department store El Corte Ingles. If you purchase bullfight tickets on this website you are still required to pick them up at any of their stores along the Costa del Sol. It is also required to show the card used in the purchase, as well as a document assuring the ownership of the card (such as an ID card or a passport).

There is an El Corte Ingles in Marbella in Puerto Banus, so you can easily get your tickets here.

There is also another website where you can purchase tickets, but from what I read so far you are also required to pick them up at certain locations. In some exceptions you are able to pick up tickets at the bullring box office. You can read more details about purchasing Marbella bullfight tickets at Taquillatoros.com.

I haven´t found a website where you can print out your tickets at home, but will keep looking. If you are staying at a hotel, the concierge should be able to arrange tickets for you and pick them up for you ahead of time.

Thank you for answer. If I would buy the tickets via the website you recommend, will I be able to print the tickets myself or will they be send by normal mail ? Are there other ways to buy tickets (for instance: are there hotels you can give me the name of, where I can buy them) ?

Bullfights are held in Marbella every week from May until the end of summer. Unfortunately, the timetable for the bullfights are only posted a week before the fight, so you can´t plan too far in advance if you´re looking for a specific matador (torero). But you should have a chance to attend a bullfight in June.

If you want to buy tickets you may call the Marbella bullring box office at 952 772 444 or purchase them at El Corte Ingles ticket office tel: 902 400 222.

Tickets may run anywhere from 50 euros to 125 euros.
