After working in London with Marcus Wareing, Claridges Hotel in Mayfair and some of Marbella´s finest restaurants, James Alexander has recently set up his latest venture.


Bravura aims to cover all culinary needs by offering a personal and private chef service to Marbella residents who do not require a full time cook. Bravura delivers the next best thing which is having an occasional personal chef prepare your home cooked meals therefore allowing you the time to relax and enjoy with your family.

The menus are balanced to suit different lifestyles and needs and are all prepared with fresh produce. All of our chefs come from professional kitchen backgrounds and have excellent knowledge of food nutrition.

Without saying, the great part of having a personal chef is to throw your own parties at home for your family and friends without all the stress and work that goes with it. Let your chef take care of all your dinner plans so you are free to enjoy the event at hand.

Excellent service from the start to finish. James was incredibly professional and made our dining experience on our last night a pleasure. The food was gorgeous and beautifully presented. Would definitely reccommend it and use again when in the area again. Good value for money especially since it included such a variety for 8 people.

The flavours that he creates are exquisite and if it is true that the first bite is with the eye, then the pleasure definitely begins as your plate is placed in front of you! As well as his amazing food, James is a lovely, helpful man who will go way beyond the call of duty to ensure that your dining experience is unforgettable. I have been fortunate enough to sample James’s delicious creations many times and I sincerely hope there will be many more opportunities in the future.

 A great meal

We hired James from Bravura Chefs in Marbella when visiting on holiday over the Christmas period as a personal chef.

He really did do a great meal and the service was superb. When talking to James we found out that he also does private cooking classes that focus on all cooking methods so you learn a good set of basic skills rather than just learning a dish.

If his classes are anything like his dinner parties your in for a treat.
