This news feed is quite old, does anyone know if there are still scouts or anything similar for boys on the coast, preferably San Pedro area?

Girl groups, Brownies etc. by: Caroline
Does anyone know of a brownie group, or girls brigade (etc) for children in the Marbella to Estepona side of the costa? I know there's one in Fuengirola but it's too far. Alternatively, does anyone know how one could set one up?
Many thanks for any help

Thank you. by: Anonymous
Thank you very much for the info, my son used to go to that group and loved it but it's too far for us to go from where we live now.
Do you know of any other sorts of clubs for children in the San Pedro area ?

Scouts on the Costa del Sol by: Marbella Family
I have heard of one in Fuengirola, but never in Marbella. The one in Fuengirola includes Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies, Beavers and Rainbows for children aged 6 to 14. The Explorers are for Scouts and Guides over the age of 14.
They meet up at the Ark Christian Fellowship Hall, on the upper level of the Las Rampas Centre in Fuengirola once a week on a Thursday or Friday evening.
If you are intereted in this group, you can find more information about them on their website. Cut and paste this URL into your browser: http://fuengirolascouts.com
I also found an interesting club that is similar to scouts. The Wildside Survival Forest School for Kids gets kids from the age of 5 involved in loads of survival activities, such as:
Walks Nature trails Building a camp Basic first aid Building a camp fire Plant identification and much more...
I will be on the lookout and let you know if I hear of anything. In the meantime, I will post this question on our Facebook wall, so you can see if we get any answers there (if you are connected to Facebook). Don't forget to click on "Like" to get regular updates on your Facebook wall.
I will also make an announcement on Twitter, if you prefer following us there.
