I have heard that the park is only open in the summer months, could you please tell us what those months are? as we are visiting in the first week in June this year 2010

Sorry for the late comments,We actaully did visit the Aqua Park near Torremolenos it is the same park as advertised as Mijas for which we were given dicount vouchers for while shopping at Carefour. We had a brilliant day and would recommend it to anyone who likes water. My wife does not swim but she enjoyed people watching from under a shady tree so a pleasant day was had by all.

I checked on Aqualand (Torremolinos) and they are opening this Saturday May 29, 2010. Their hours are May 29 - July 11:00am - 6:00pm, July - September 10:00am - 7:00pm. They will most likely stay open for half of September and will resort to their 11:00am - 6:00pm hours, but it all depends on the weather so check before you go if you´ll be here in September. Feel free to read our reviews on Aqualand ahead of time to better plan your day.

Parque Acuatico in Mijas is already open from 10:30am - 5:30pm. In July and August they will stay open longer from 10:00am till 7:00pm.

Many thanks for this my Grandson will be most upset as we will not be in Spain when it opens.

I called the park and they say that they should open June 11, but it´s still not confirmed. I´ll keep trying and see if we can secure a definite date. Once they open for the summer their hours are from 10:30am till 7:30pm.
