AVE HIGH SPEED TRAIN SERVICE

I have been told that it is possible to purchase tickets for the high speed train at both El Corte Ingles stores in Marbella at their travel department. Is this correct as I have been trying to buy on-line through RENFE without success as their site is complicated and I have not been able to find it in English.
