Artisan market Marbella
by: Adrienne

It's very pretty and one can find a good priced lunch, but the market really just a few stalls. Futher along is another small interesting square with live jazz lunchtime and lots of good eateries and pizzaz.

Bajo los Naranjos Marbella
by: Marbella Family

Today it was a beautiful sunny day, so we decided to visit the artisanal market in Marbella Old Town.

There weren´t many stalls, but what was there was quite interesting. I found an interesting stall selling Japanese ceramics. The artisans live in Granada and come out every Sunday to Marbella to sell their wares. I am thrilled with my purchase of Japanese ceramic mugs and am already sipping green tea out of them as I write this.

We also found some lovely bath soaps and salts from Get a Natural Life. They look so luscious and tasty. I saw flavors such as coffee, lemon, cucumber and more. They look good enough to eat.

Usually I don´t even consider going out to the "casco antiguo" (Marbella old town) on a Sunday, but I was curious to see what the market was like. It was nice to see a bit more hustle and bustle in this beautiful corner of Marbella and imagine the market will continue to grow as the months go on and should be really bustling by summer.
