Another beautiful morning in San Pedro

We had another beautiful morning today in San Pedro de Alcantara. I took the kids to school and headed to the beach for a nice bike ride with my trusty dog. I even encountered another dog that looked exactly like my mutt. They looked so much alike that as we crossed the street, the owner of the other dog saw us and yelled at her dog´s name so that he´d get out of the street.

The skies were clear today, so much that you could even see Gibraltar and a bit of Morocco from the San Pedro Beach boardwalk. Lots of people were out today jogging, walking, exercising on those red and yellow machines pumping their arms and legs all over the place, dogs were running around and you couldn´t help but breathe in and think what a beautiful scene.

Have you ever seen an elephant on the beach? Well, in San Pedro our beaches are full of them. They are intended to be used as showers. When you press a button water comes out of their trunk.

We are now off-season in Marbella and you can tell by the number of people on the beach. Basically, no one. Just a jogger or walker straggling along the sand. I even found these two lonely chairs on the sand just calling my name to sit down and watch the waves and the world go by.
