Al Benson Jazz Band at Marbella Jazz Festival

Marbella Family attended the concert of Al Benson at the Marbella 1st Jazz Festival and thoroughly enjoyed the music and meeting the artists.

The 6-man band from Marseille, France, played a mix of jazz, blues, boogie for the delight of the audience at the Municipal Football Stadium. The setting under the stars in the warm night of Marbella made for a perfect evening. We particularly enjoyed their tune called ¨the long trip¨ and seeing Al Benson ´boogiing´ on the piano.

The only bemol for the artists was that attendance was very low because of poor media coverage by the promoters of the event (posters arrived from the print shop the day of the concert!).
