Affordable summer accommodations in Marbella?

I am Looking to bring my seven year old Grandson to Marbella in August, to attened a language school in the Elviria zone. Also my daughter and infant grandaughter will be with us. I am finding it hard to know where to stay as I don't know Marbella at all. The Hotels all seem very pricy and I am looking for clean cheapish accommodation. I do understand it is the high season but wondered if anyone has any idea's please.
