* Afterschool activities It’s time to start scrambling for after school activities for the kids this week. Perhaps your school offers a fun program, but maybe you want your kids to get some experience outside of school in a Spanish or English environment to improve their language skills. No matter your intention, it’s a good thing to try many things and get your kids out there. Take a look at our list of clubs and activities to find some recommendations and see what’s around. In this newsletter we cannot fit all of the activities available, but can highlight a few that we think you may be most interested in. Dance Football
Don’t forget to browse our Family Forum for more, groups, clubs and lessons for the kids…and yourself! Go to Schools, Camps & Clubs. TIP: If you don’t find what you are looking for, send us a message or post on our Facebook wall. We have a fantastic group of parents and followers out there who are ready to help. If you have a club or after school activity that you are happy with and would like to recommend, please tell us about it! We attended the tryouts last Wednesday (don’t worry, it’s not too late) and it looks like an intense club for serious athletes and kids who love sport. At only 30 euro a month for training 5 days a week, this is one of the best bargains in town. Click here to read more... TIP: I literally just spoke with a member of the adult triathlon club and he guarantees that the kids club is very special, very serious, somewhere that kids can really move forward as an athlete, a place to make lifelong friends and where every kid is "a good one". It sounds like a winner to me. * Wanted: Alboran school uniform One of our readers needs a school uniform for Colegio de Alboran and asks, ”Anyone have any school uniform for a boy aged 4 from Collegio Alboran?? please let me know!” If you would like to get in touch, leave a comment on the page in this link.
