There were loads of events planned for this weekend, but looks like the rain is going to wipe some of them out. The Marbella Carnival continues on, however, you may want to call ahead to find out if the activities will be canceled. It´s best to assume that if the event is held outdoors, that it won´t continue. The Saturday carnival walk looks like it may get rained out, however there is a big closing ceremony and party that may continue, because it is supposed to take place in the tent in the Parque de la Represa. On Sunday, we are promised a little bit of sunshine, so possibly the Grand Chorizo Carnival will still be on. It will be held in front of the Asociación Cultural Carnavalesca Marbellí (Calle José Iturbi). Free chorizo tastings and carnival entertainment. If you would like to call ahead, try 952 76 40 88.
