I met up with a friend today who is leaving for the UK and is unable to take her two gorgeous cats with her. Unfortunately, she is having the Triple A (home for abandoned animals) pick them up today as she couldn´t find a home for them. I am about to register my two sons (ages (9 and 12) for a week long summer camp at "ENFOREX" or Don Quijote (owned by same company) in Marbella. Marbella town hall has organized a Bossaball tournament on La Bajadilla beach in Marbella starting July 16 and running until August 15. Anyone can participate in the sport for free every afternoon from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on this beach near the fishing port. Registration is free and can be completed on the beach. * Obama family to visit Marbella

The wife of the President of the United States, Michelle Obama, and their nine-year-old daughter Sasha, will spend part of their summer holidays in Marbella. The visit will be from August 4 to 8 in the luxury Villapadierna Hotel, where 35 rooms have been reserved for family and friends.

Initial reports claimed the President would also visit but a statement from the White House denied this.
